Let's take our tea out to the porch--I'll rock and you swing, and I'll tell you a little about myself. I spent the first half of my life in the Deep South, an experience that informs my settings and troubles my characters, Southern-Gothic style. I endeavor to write living, breathing characters that grab the reader, in a voice as equally affecting as the setting and the prose.
